1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AddItemTo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
AddItemTo is a local asset tracking application that allows you to:
- Track physical assets and inventory on your device
- Organize items by location
- Use NFC tags for quick identification and check-in/check-out
- Record transaction history
- Store all data locally on your device
3. Free Tier
The free tier allows unlimited local asset tracking on your device.
No technical support is provided for the free version. The App is provided "as-is" for your use.
4. Premium Features (Pro Subscription)
Pro subscription includes:
- Cloud sync across multiple devices
- Photo cloud backup
- Share your inventory with up to 5 people
- Follow shared inventories from others
- Up to 1,000 synced assets
Pricing is displayed in your local currency in the App Store. All purchases are processed through Apple and subject to Apple's terms.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
- Not violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Be solely responsible for backing up your data
6. NFC Tags
- You are responsible for purchasing your own compatible NFC tags (NTAG213, NTAG215, or NTAG216 recommended)
- NFC functionality requires compatible iPhone hardware (iPhone 7 or later)
- Tags are reusable and can be overwritten
- The developer is not liable for tag compatibility issues or hardware limitations
7. Data and Privacy
- All data is stored locally on your device
- You retain full ownership of your data
- The developer does not collect, access, or store your asset data

- You are responsible for backing up your data; deletion of the App will delete all local data
8. Photo Attachments
All users can attach photos to their assets. Photos are stored locally on your device.
- Free tier: Photos stored locally on your device only
- Pro/Business/Enterprise: Photos also backed up to Cloudflare R2 cloud storage
- You retain ownership of all photos you upload
- Photos are subject to the content policies below
- Cloud photo limits vary by subscription tier (see pricing)
9. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, store, or transmit content that:
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child exploitation content
- Infringes on intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks
- Violates privacy rights of others
- Contains illegal content under applicable laws
- Is abusive, threatening, or harassing
- Contains malware or harmful code
CSAM Reporting: We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. Any CSAM content discovered will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement authorities as required by federal law.
10. Content Moderation
We reserve the right to:
- Review reported content for compliance with these terms
- Remove any content that violates these terms or applicable laws
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Report illegal content to appropriate authorities
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
Content moderation is performed manually in response to reports. We do not proactively scan or monitor user content under normal circumstances.
To report abuse or illegal content, email: abuse@additem.to. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
UK Illegal Content Reporting: If we discover child sexual abuse material or other illegal content, we will report it to:
- Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) for CSAM content
- National Crime Agency (NCA) for serious criminal content
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for international cases
- Local law enforcement as required by UK law
11. User License Grant
By uploading photos or content to our services, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store your content on our servers (Cloudflare R2)
- Transmit your content to your authorized devices
- Display your content to users you have shared access with
- Create thumbnails and optimize images for performance
This license exists solely to provide the service and terminates when you delete the content or close your account. We do not use your content for any other purpose.
12. No Warranty
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
The developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy, reliability, or availability
The developer does not warrant that:
- The App will meet your requirements
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any data loss will not occur
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
- Any data loss or corruption
- Any errors or omissions in the App
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
14. Subscriptions and Refunds
General Terms
- Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store
- All payments are subject to Apple's terms and conditions
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before renewal
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy
- The developer does not process payments or issue refunds directly
UK Consumer Rights - 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Important: By starting to use premium features immediately after purchase, you expressly agree to waive your 14-day cancellation right. If you wish to preserve this right, do not use premium features until the 14-day period has expired.
To exercise your cancellation right, contact Apple Support or email us at support@additem.to within 14 days.
Consumer Rights Act 2015
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be:
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
- As described in our marketing materials
If the App fails to meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Contact us at support@additem.to to report issues.
15. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
The developer reserves the right to:
- Discontinue the App at any time without notice
- Modify or remove features without notice
- Block access to future updates for any reason
When premium features exist, accounts may be terminated for violation of these terms.
16. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Changes will be posted within the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
17. Apple App Store Requirements
This App is distributed through the Apple App Store and you agree to comply with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
Apple is not responsible for:
- The App or its content
- Maintenance or support services
- Any product warranty claims
- Addressing any claims by you or third parties
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
UK Consumer Rights: If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you retain your rights under UK consumer protection legislation, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
19. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms remain in full force and effect.
