What the free version doesn't include
The free version has a few limits. Here's what they are.
1 inventory
The free version gives you one inventory - one set of items, locations, and tags. Pro Local and Pro Cloud give you unlimited inventories, which is useful if you want to keep home and work completely separate.
Up to 25 item tags
Item tags are labels you apply to items for grouping and filtering - "tools", "fragile", "insured". The free plan gives you 25 per inventory. Pro plans give you unlimited.
Up to 5 custom fields
Custom fields let you add extra data to items - serial numbers, purchase prices, warranty dates. Five covers most use cases. Pro plans give you unlimited.
Up to 10 photos per item
Plenty for most items. If you regularly photograph every angle of high-value items, Pro Local gives you unlimited photos.
No cloud sync, no web app, and no multi-device support on the free plan - those are Pro Cloud features.
Questions about the free version
Is it really free, with no catch?
Yes. No item limit, no ads, no account required, no expiry. The free version is how the app ships - paid plans add extra features for people who need them, but nothing is taken away if you stay free.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Download the app and start immediately. An account is only needed for Pro Cloud, which adds cloud sync and web access.
How many items can I track?
Unlimited. There is no item cap on the free version.
Does it work without internet?
Fully. Everything is stored on your device. Offline access is not a paid feature - it works the same on the free plan.
Is NFC support free?
Yes. NFC tag scanning, QR code scanning, and barcode scanning are all free with no limit on the number of physical tags you can use.
Will it stay free?
Yes. The free tier is a permanent part of the app, not a trial or a limited beta. You will never be forced to upgrade to keep using what you have.
Download free. No account needed.
